Privacy Policy
Privacy Statement
We know how important privacy is to our customers, and it is equally as important to us. Our Privacy Policy forms a key part of our ISO27001:2022 aligned information security management system (ISMS).
And whilst we hold this policy dear to our hearts, and it is subject to continuous, systematic review and improvement, it’s still fairly dry reading. We hope this document will help you understand what information we at the Swan Valley Hotel (SVH) collect, and how we use it, without boring you to tears.
What is collected?
We collect different kinds of information. Some of it is identifiable as your personal information or belonging to your organisation and some is non-identifying or aggregated. We may collect and process the following information about you:
- Personal information: when you register with us via our website or when you use any of our products or services. Personal information is any information about you that is personally identifiable, such as your name, address, email address or phone number, login credentials and any other information that is not otherwise publicly available. Information you provide to us when you contact us by telephone or in writing.
- Device data: information relating to your devices, including your browser type, device model, operating system, unique device identifier, IP address, mobile phone number, mobile network carrier, location, and your event activity when accessing SVH systems.
- Billing data: if you pay for products or services, we may require your bank details, billing address and may require your shipping address.
- Log data: our servers automatically record information, including information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website or your mobile app sends when you’re using it. This log data may include your Internet Protocol address, the address of the previous website you visited, your browser type and settings, the date and time of your request, information about your browser configuration and plug-ins, language preferences, and cookie data. Log data does not contain message content and is not routinely deleted.
How it is collected?
We log and store pretty much everything because we find that the more feedback we get and information we have available the better our ability to provide a reliable and valuable service to our customers.
