Welcome to The Swan Valley Hotel, a hidden gem just 30 minutes from Perth. Whether planning a wedding or special event or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, we offer the perfect blend of country charm and modern comfort.

Under new ownership, The Swan Valley Hotel is currently in the midst of an exciting transformation, promising a fresh new experience for guests.

Renovations to the 32 guest rooms, guest swimming pool and function centre, and upgrades to the popular 18-hole Supa Golf and Supa Putt courses have recently been completed.

With final touches underway on the venue’s gym and sauna upgrades, hotel guests will soon enjoy a comprehensive resort-style experience.

We are excited to announce that The Swan Valley Hotel is under new ownership, and we are in the final stages of renovating and modernising many areas of the property to enhance your experience. While some of our amenities are still under construction, we are working diligently to complete these updates as quickly as possible.

How do I make a booking?

Do you accept phone bookings?

All bookings are made online through our website. However, if you have a special request, such as a large group booking, we’re happy to assist with advice before you book online.

What facilities are available in the rooms?

All rooms include the following amenities for your comfort:

Please note that rooms do not include:

  • Walk-in showers (available in only a few select rooms; most have showers over the bath).

Spa functionality is disabled on all baths unless otherwise specified.

Do you have interconnecting or adjacent rooms for a family?

We do not have interconnecting rooms. Our 1 Bedroom Apartments are spacious and can accommodate up to 4 guests with a fold-out sofa bed in the lounge.

For larger sized families, you may need to book two separate rooms.

Adjacent rooms can be requested but are subject to availability and therefore not guaranteed until we acknowledge and confirm the request.

What facilities are available on site?

The Swan Valley Hotel sits on 73 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and offers a variety of amenities, including:

  • 32 recently renovated guest rooms
  • Tropical Swimming Pool
  • Gym and Sauna (re-opening 16th December 2024; charges may apply)
  • Guest Laundry (under renovation, reopening 16th December 2024)
  • The Henley Suite @ Swan Valley Function Centre, ideal for weddings, functions and corporate events.
  • Gerry’s Deli, offering New York-style deli fare, New Haven-inspired pizza, and locally sourced produce (see Gerry’s website for operating hours)
  • Supa Golf – an 18-hole golf course and a Supa Putt course (check the Supa Golf website for operating hours and bookings).

Does the hotel have a gym?

Yes, our gym and sauna have recently been renovated. Due to delays with City Council approval, the reopening of these facilities has been delayed. We hope to provide an update ASAP.

Does the hotel have a swimming pool?

We’re thrilled to announce that our swimming pool has re-opened after extensive renovations. Dive in and enjoy the refreshed space designed for your relaxation and enjoyment.

  • Pool Hours: Please check the entry gate for the current opening times.
  • Pool Rules: For everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that you follow the pool rules and any directions from our staff.

Does the hotel provide food and beverage options?

Yes, we offer a variety of dining options:

  • Gerry’s Deli – A New York-style deli with pizza and locally sourced produce (check Gerry’s website for operating days and times).
  • Grazing Boxes – Cheese, charcuterie, condiments, crackers, and chocolates. To order, email orders@gerrys.au at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Supa Golf Clubhouse – Offers coffee, pies, and light refreshments (see the Supa Golf website for operating hours).

Preparing For Your Stay

How do I check in online?

We highly recommend completing online check-in to streamline your arrival. You can access the online check-in link from your booking confirmation email. This quick process requires your name, contact details, card information, and a photo ID upload.

If you prefer, you can check in at reception between 2 pm and 5 pm.

Why do you require my ID?

We require photo identification to verify your identity for hotel security and insurance purposes, as well as to protect the credit cardholder.

Acceptable forms of ID include a valid Australian driver’s licence, an Australian proof of age card, or an Australian or international passport.

What if I have trouble uploading my ID?

Double-check that the name you’re using matches the one on your booking confirmation. If you’re still having issues, try using a different web browser.

What is the $250 pre-authorisation, and when will I get it back?

A pre-authorisation, also known as an authorisation hold or pre-auth hold, is a common hotel practice that places a temporary hold on funds in your account to cover potential incidental charges during your stay.

We require a $250 pre-authorisation as a security deposit upon your check-in. This hold is released after a successful room inspection upon your departure.

Please note that while we release the funds immediately after inspection, the actual processing time for the funds to return to your account depends on your bank. We recommend ensuring that funds are available for the pre-authorisation, especially if you’re arriving after hours.

What happens if I need to check in after hours?

If you're arriving after reception closes, make sure to complete the entire online check-in process, including the ID upload and pre-authorisation.

Once completed, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to access your room key and room location.

Can I request an early check-in?

Yes, early check-in is available from 12pm noon, subject to availability.

Please notify reception in advance if you'd like to request early check-in. A $50 charge will apply, and payment will be collected upon your arrival.

Can I have additional guests in my room or suite?

All rooms come standard with King beds and are designed for a maximum of 2 guests.

Twin bed configurations are available for an additional $50, subject to room availability.

If you require twin beds, please request this prior to your stay.

Can I have additional guests in my 1 Bedroom Apartment?

1 Bedroom Apartments are configured with a King bed for 2 guests. Twin beds can be requested prior to your stay, subject to availability, for an additional $50.

Up to two additional guests can be accommodated on the fold-out sofa bed at a charge of $50 per guest, per night.

Please let us know the total number of guests staying in your apartment.

What are your reception hours?

Our reception is open:

  • Monday to Friday: 9 am to 5 pm
  • Saturday to Sunday: 8 am to 5 pm

What if I need to check out early?

If you’re departing before reception opens, simply drop your keys in the black drop box outside reception and complete the online check-out via the email you’ll receive.

Can I request a late check-out?

Yes, late check-out is available until 12pm noon, subject to availability, for an additional $50.

Payment for your late checkout can be made at reception upon arrival.

For guests who have arranged an after-hours check-in, the late check-out fee will be processed manually before your arrival.

We are a cashless operation and only accept card payments.

Can I request split beds?

Some rooms allow for split beds at an additional charge of $50.

Split beds must be requested before your stay so that we can confirm whether this is available for your room.

Can I get a microwave oven in my room?

Microwaves are only available in our 1 Bedroom Apartments, which also feature a full kitchen with a hob, oven, kettle, toaster, and fridge/freezer.

Do all rooms have coffee machines?

Suites and 1 Bedroom Apartments are equipped with pod coffee machines. All other rooms come with a kettle, tea bags, instant coffee, and long-life milk.

Discover Supa Golf

Supa Golf offers a fun, relaxed twist on traditional golf with oversized clubs, larger colourful balls, and modified rules that make it easier for players of all skill levels.

It’s real golf but with shorter holes, larger putting cups, and and the choice of 9-hole or 18 holes that feature bunkers and water traps.

Supa Golf provides a light-hearted challenge in a beautiful setting. Perfect for groups of up to 5 players, it’s an enjoyable 900m walk per course, featuring a mix of par 3s, 4s, and 5s. A great way to enjoy golf without the pressure!
